NanoWash: Maintenance

Learn how to properly maintain the NanoWash to ensure peak performance

Wash Chamber

The wash chamber is flushed with IPA during every cycle and does not require routine cleaning. Wipe down the exterior of the machine and the top lid periodically with a damp cloth. Use the included metal tweezers to retrieve any loose supports or cured resin fragments from inside the chamber.

Wash Filter

The wash filter catches debris from printed parts before it reaches the pump. NanoWash tracks usage and will prompt you on the touchscreen when the filter needs cleaning.

To remove, pull the filter straight up by its handle. Use the included metal tweezers to pick out trapped supports or cured resin pieces, then rinse away remaining debris. Press the filter back down into its slot until it snaps into place. The filter is pill-shaped and seats correctly in either orientation. A spare filter is included in the box.

Solvent Tank

The Solvent Tank is a long-term consumable. Inspect it regularly for signs of wear and clogging. It is recommended to replace Solvent Tanks once every year. Clean the Solvent Tank each time you replace IPA.

Store unused Solvent Tanks in a place away from direct sunlight. Do not use the Solvent Tank for storing IPA. If you are not planning to use IPA in the Solvent Tank for more than a month, transfer IPA into its original container.

Solvent Tank Seal

The rubber seal on the unit (where the Solvent Tank mates with the machine) should be inspected periodically for residue buildup.

Wipe clean with a cloth dampened with IPA if needed. Do not scrub aggressively or use abrasive materials. If the rubber seal on the unit shows signs of wear, simply replace it with the spare provided. Never operate the machine without the rubber seal installed.
