ProWash S: IPA Not Transferring Back to Tank

How to resolve issues with IPA failing to return to the reservoir after a wash cycle.

If IPA does not drain back into the tanks after a cleaning cycle, the most common cause is a clogged wash filter. The filter protects internal plumbing from resin debris, and when obstructed, fluid cannot circulate properly. Cleaning or replacing the filter typically resolves the issue.

Pro Wash S: Filter Replacement

Overview

The wash filter protects the ProWash S plumbing system by catching resin particles and debris during cleaning cycles. Over time, the filter can become clogged and should be replaced to maintain proper wash performance. This article explains how to safely remove and install a new filter.

Drain the Wash Chamber

Before replacing the filter, ensure the wash chamber is completely empty.

  1. On the touchscreen, open Settings.
  2. Select Force Drain to remove any remaining IPA from the chamber.
  3. Once drained, wipe away any solvent residue inside the chamber.

Remove the Old Filter

  1. Locate the wash filter inside the wash chamber, positioned just to the right of the propeller.
  2. Reach into the chamber and unscrew the filter by hand.
  3. Lift it out of the chamber and set it aside for disposal.

Install the New Filter

  1. Insert the new wash filter into the threaded opening.
  2. Screw it in by hand until secure.
    1. Do not overtighten, hand-tight is sufficient to maintain a proper seal.
