Pro S: How to Update Software

Overview

Keeping the Pro S updated ensures it runs with the newest features, stability enhancements, and print accuracy improvements. Regular updates help prevent avoidable issues and maintain optimal performance.

How to Update the Pro S Software

On the printer touchscreen, navigate to the Software tab.
Tap Software to view the current installed version and update options.

2. Enable Automatic Updates

If Automatic Updates is turned off, toggle it to the On position.
This allows the printer to install updates automatically when idle.
The system will wait to update until no print jobs are running, so overnight printing is not interrupted.

3. Check for an Available Update

Under the Software section, check whether an update is listed.
If an update is available, tap Update Now.
To review the contents of the update before installing, tap Release Notes.

4. Download the Update

The printer will begin downloading the latest software.
A progress bar will appear and slowly fill as the download completes.

5. Install the Update

Once the download finishes, tap Install.
Do not power off or unplug the device during installation.
The printer will automatically restart when the update is complete.

6. Verify Installation

After restart, return to the Software tab.
Confirm that the update appears as successfully installed.
