ProWash/Dry: Filter Replacement

Replace the wash filter to maintain proper solvent flow and protect internal plumbing.

Overview

The ProWash/Dry filter protects the internal plumbing system from resin debris and contaminants. Over time, the filter may become clogged or damaged, which can affect solvent transfer and wash performance. This article explains how to safely remove and replace the wash filter.

Before You Begin

Ensure the wash chamber is completely empty before replacing the filter.

If solvent is present:

  1. Navigate to Settings on the touchscreen.
  2. Select Force Drain.
  3. Wait until the chamber is fully drained before proceeding.

Remove the Filter

  1. Locate the filter inside the wash chamber, positioned just to the right of the propeller.
  2. Reach into the chamber and turn the filter counter-clockwise by hand.
  3. Unscrew and remove the filter completely.

Take care to prevent debris from falling into the plumbing during removal.

Install the New Filter

  1. Insert the new wash filter into the threaded opening.
  2. Turn clockwise by hand until secure.

Do not overtighten. Hand tightening is sufficient.

After installation, confirm the filter is properly seated before running the next wash cycle.
