Overview
The Pro 2 Duo Kit enables dual-resin printing by allowing two materials or two shades to be printed in a single job. This capability increases production efficiency, reduces material changeovers, and supports parallel workflows for both clinical offices and dental laboratories.

Why the Duo Kit Matters
For Dental Laboratories
- Increase throughput with parallel production
- Eliminate time lost to resin changeovers
- Support multi-case and multi-indication workflows without setup delays
Use cases include combinations such as:
- Denture base and denture teeth
- Smile design and provisional
- Models and crowns
For Dental Practices
- Produce multiple appliances or dentures in a single print cycle
- Reduce patient wait times
- Improve chairside efficiency and expand in-office services
Key Benefits of Duo Kit Printing
Dual-resin capability – Print two resin types or shades simultaneously.
Continuous production – Avoid stopping to swap tanks or materials.
Simple integration – Install quickly with minimal training; automatic calibration simplifies setup.

What the Duo Kit Includes
The Duo Kit consists of:
- Duo Kit build platform
- Resin tank adapter
- Two individual Duo resin tanks
- Washing adapter for post-processing
These components replace the standard platform and tank when dual-material printing is required.
Installation and First-Time Calibration
When the Duo Kit is installed for the first time, Pro 2 automatically performs a calibration cycle.
Steps:
- Install the Duo Kit platform, tank adapter, and tanks.
- When prompted on the touchscreen, remove the platform, tanks, and adapter.
- Close the UV protective hood.
- The build arm will lower fully, then rise to the top.
- The printer will confirm that calibration is complete.
This automatic calibration only needs to be performed once during the initial Duo Kit installation. Subsequent installs do not require repeating this process unless prompted by the device.
How to Use the Duo Kit for Printing
1. Prepare the Print Job
Dual-material printing begins in Print Setup.
- Approve your design files in SprintRay Cloud Design or import STL files.
- Select the indications you want to print.
- Choose “New Print Job” for each model when prompted.
2. Enable Duo Mode
In Print Setup:
- Navigate to the Indications panel on the right.
- Select Duo Mode.
- Assign indications to Tank 1 (left) and Tank 2 (right).
Any design previously approved through Cloud Design is automatically backed up in Cloud Drive and can be added through the Cloud Drive button. Locally designed models can be added via drag-and-drop.
3. Review Setup and Send to Printer
Confirm:
- Correct resin assigned to each tank
- Correct material placement (Tank 1 left, Tank 2 right)
- Proper model orientation and layout
Once verified, send the job to the printer.
Washing Duo Kit Prints
When washing parts printed with the Duo Kit:
- Always use the included Duo washing adapter.
- This prevents accidental contact between the parts and internal components of SprintRay washing devices.
